KARACHI: Former cricketer Basit Ali has alleged that a domestic Twenty20 match between Sialkot Stallions and Karachi Dolphins teams was fixed, ARY News reported.
He said he was telephoned by local coach Ijaz junior who stated that the match was fixed.
On the other side, Ijaz snubbed the allegations leveled by Basit Ali, saying it was a complete lie. He said, instead, Basit had phoned him about fixing of the match.
He cited Basit as saying during telephonic conversation that match between Sialkot Stallions and Karachi Dolphins was seemingly fixed.
