KARACHI: Two vehicles were completely destroyed in a cylinder blast near SITE area on Wednesday, ARY News reported.
SSP East said a Suzuki van containing some cylinders collided with another vehicle and the explosion occurred. The incident occurred near Habib Bank Chowrangi. Sources said at least two people were also injured who were shifted to a nearby hospital.
The explosion was so loud that it spread panic in nearby localities. Two vehicles including a rickshaw were completely destroyed in the wake of blast, while another vehicle was partially damaged.
Rescue teams and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) also reached the spot.
