GUJRANWALA: Residents of Gujranwala foiled a rape attempt of an eight year old girl here on Monday, ARY News reports.
Eight year old Musfira had gone to a nearby shop to buy bread. A person named Ansar lured Musfira and took her to a nearby house and tried to rape her.
Residents of the locality apprehended Ansar and handed him over to the Civil Lines Police station after a severe thrashing.
Police has registered the case against Ansar and has started its probe of the incident.
