Police said servant Nazeer killed the landlady in lust for money. According to police, the suspect first assaulted the woman and then smothered her with a pillow, leaving her dead.
The victim’s daughter had arrived at the house to wish her mom ‘Mother’s Day’, only to discover that her beloved was no more alive. She informed the police about the incident.
The culprit made off with jewelries, cash and other valuables from the house. He was a driver and servant of the deceased lady for last five months.
Police said they were tracking the culprit to arrest him. Further investigation is underway.
