The names were placed on the ECL by the Ministry of Interior upon the request of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), said sources privy to affairs.
The NAB had reportedly asserted that if the two leave the country then there will be a huge delay in the cases against them.
Both former premiers are facing several cases and references in accountability courts.
They also face multiples inquiries for their alleged involvement in corruption and mismanagement during their respective tenures.
