He said rising population and climate change impacts would affect the country.

“Pakistan is the 8th country worst affected by environmental changes.”

“We have to think today, country will suffer a lot in coming years if revolutionary steps are not taken today”, said Khan. He said the challenges facing the government would reflect in future generation.

Khan reiterated that until tax collection will not be improved, the country will have to rely on external sources.

The PTI chairman added: “If we show improvement in tackling climate change impacts, we can get foreign funds to save the country from threats arising out of the growing environmental changes.”
