ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik e Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan in an interview apprehended that the talks with Taliban would end in failure.

According to ARY News, the PTI chief said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has delayed opening the talks with Taliban.

"I would have led the talks team by myself if heading the government of Pakistan," PTI chief said in an interview to a foreign news agency.

He said the nature of the government committee reflects the non-serious attitude of the Prime Minister towards the dialogue. He feared that the talks with Taliban will end in failure.

He claimed that the United States don't want peace in Pakistan and has not been sincere about negotiations with Taliban.

He said the US can help in making the dialogue fruitful by announcing to end drone strikes in Pakistan.
