KARACHI: Paramilitary Rangers operation in Karachi continued as targeted raid in Sohrab Goth the law enforcers arrested eight suspects, ARY News reported on Friday.
Around 400 Rangers personnel including women officials cordoned off Hassan Noman Colony in Sohrab Goth locality and in a house to house search detained eight suspected persons.
The detainees arrested with weapons, included extortionists and members of an outlawed militant group, Rangers sources said.
Moreover, the bomb disposal squad defused a bomb device near Chandni Chowk in Baldia Town.
The bomb was made with two kilograms of explosives and was planted outside a battery shop, BDS sources said.
