KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Thursday rejected the appeals of three Lashkar-e-Jhangvi militants seeking relief in their sentences announced by Anti-Terrorism Court earlier, ARY News reported.

The ATC had earlier doled out 20 years’ imprisonment each to three terrorists affiliated with LeJ.

The convicts were charged with possessing explosives material, rockets and illegal weapons.

Presiding over a two-member bench, Justice Sajjad Ali Shah of the SHC rejected a plea of three terrorists – Abdul Baqi, Yousuf Chandio and Ismail Chandio – against their sentences.

These terrorists were arrested by the Crime Investigation Department (CID) officials. They also had a charge of planning bomb attack on Eid Miladun Nabi procession in 2010.
