According to SSP East Faisal Abdullah, the suspects named Waseem and Abbas had kidnapped two citizens named Shams-us-Aalim and Noor-ul-Haq for ransom.
SSP Abdullah added that the culprits were also said to be involved in the kidnapping of police officers.
He added that the two abductors were arrested as they reached near Civic Centre to collect the ransom money.
