Akhtar and former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev were among the experts in a show for post-match analysis. The host began the programme with laughter with ‘Mauka Mauka’ tone running in the background.
Akhtar got infuriated at the anchor and asked him why he was laughing. “You can’t begin a program this way. You can’t laugh at me…” the fearsome pacer said straightaway.
Kapil who sensed Akhtar was losing his cool immediately chipped in and said Shoaib Akhtar should be given more time to relax.
The ex-Indian batsman also said anchor should not have begun the show that way.
