The ISPR in a statement said that an MI-17 helicopter of the Pakistan Army crashed near Tarbela, resulting in the martyrdom of an officer identified as Lt Col Tauqeer.
The MI-17 chopper of the army’s Aviation Wing was on a routine flight, it added.
The reason of crash is yet to be identified.
