According to Radio Pakistan, President Mamnoon Hussain made the statement as he was addressing a medical conference in Lahore.
He said that a number of projects have been launched by the federal government besides the economic corridor.
He stressed on the medical practitioners to play their roles against corruption and end evils from the society.
