ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court on Tuesday turned down the police report during  hearing of Muzaffargarh gang rape case, ARY News reported. 

Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani had taken suo moto notice of the gang rape incident Muzaffargarh district in southern Punjab.

Chief Justice of Pakistan expressed resentment over absence of the I.G. Punjab Police. The district police officer of Muzaffargarh was appeared before the court instead of the provincial police chief. 

The chief justice ordered the I.G. Police to submit report on the incident in the court.
