KECH: Police after an encounter recovered 5 foreigners who were held captive at a farm house here on Monday – ARY News reports.
According to District Police Officer (DPO) Kech, Bashir Barohi, police had a tip-off that 5 African nationals who were abducted a few days ago are kept at a farm house in Gokdan area.
At which, the police raided the farm house, but the kidnappers opened fire at policemen.
It was told that the exchange of fire between police and abductors continued for 2 hours, yet the culprits managed to get away.
Officials shifted abducted foreigners to a safe house, whilst raids in search of escaped culprits are being conducted after blocking the ins and outs of Gokdan area.
