It is being said that the Chinese girl Fong Don Mai nicknamed Dolly became friends with a Pakistani boy named Mohammad Ameen Jatoi who was studying in a medical college in China.
Dolly was employed as a clerk in the college.
“I am an orphan and I have another sister. I was blind in love with Ameen. I dreamt of marrying him. I even sold my home and property and gave the money to him but he disappeared”, she said.
“I came searching for him but I couldn’t find him”, she added.
Dolly was brought to Lahore from Muzaffargarh’s Alipur and arrangements were made for her return but she refused. She went to Alipur to find Ameen.
