LAHORE: The Government of Punjab has decided to form special courts under the Pakistan Protection Ordinance (PPO) in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan – ARY News reports.
According to details, the Law Minister Punjab, Rana Sanaullah met the Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court (LHC) Umer Ata Bandiyal on Tuesday.
The Chief Secretary Punjab, Home Secretary, IG Police and other higher-ups were also present at the meeting.
On this occasion, the Law Minister vowed to provide fool-proof security to the judges hearing terrorism related cases.
He added that terrorism and sectarianism based cases will be referred to the special courts formed.
