ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Raheel Sharif has met the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and discussed with him the overall security situation of the country – ARY News reports.
According to details, Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif met Nawaz Sharif at the PM House here on Tuesday.
During the meet, the COAS briefed the Prime Minister about the overall security and law and order situation of the country. Both the personalities discussed affairs relating war against terrorism, talks with militants.
The top most civil-military leadership also pondered upon all the options for the restoration of durable peace including dialogue and a military operation.
