LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday refused to grant bail to a rapist of a six year old girl, ARY News reports.
Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik heard the rape case in LHC today. During the hearing, Lawyer representing Sabir, the accused, argued in the court that his client was not involved in the crime.
Police informed the bench that Sabir had raped a six year old girl in Shahdara and was found guilty during the investigation and all the evidences are also pointed clearly towards the rapist.
The court refused to grant bail to the accused and remarked that rapists deserve to be kept behind bars and such criminals cannot be released on bail.
