Death toll rises to 11 and more than 50 reported injured

The death toll reported a couple of hours ago at 10, rose to 11 as the number of injured also increased to more than 50 people.

According to information, the blast took place inside a rickshaw, which caused nearby people to be burned.


The blast was so intense that the windows of a nearby building shattered whereas the rickshaw in which the blast took place, was decimated.

Four shops and four vehicles also caught fire following the explosion.

Rescue teams rushed at the scene to shift the injured persons and bodies to a hospital. Six of the wounded are said to be in critical condition.

A terrorism case has been filed against unidentified persons.
