GUJRANWALA: Gujranwala, constituency of the Minister for Commerce and Textiles, Khurram Dastagir was rocked with heavy gunfire earlier today upon the arrival of the minister – ARY News reports.
According to details, Khurram Dastagir reached his constituency for the first time after taking over the new portfolio. On this occasion, PMLN workers and supporters of the minister who had arrived to welcome him, raised slogans, waved weapons and opened heavy aerial gunfire expressing their happiness.
Meanwhile, after the news being aired on media repeatedly the Minister for Commerce and Textiles regained his senses and addressed a press conference condemning the act of his supporters.
Moreover, police also arrested 8 people who waved weapons in the rally and opened fire.
