Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar also met the DG Rangers Major General Bilal Akbar. During the visit, the corps commander was given a detailed briefing on Karachi Operation and overall law and order situation.
The corps commander was also informed about security measures which will be in place during the month of Ramazan.
On this occasion, Gen Naveed Mukhtar clearly stated that “forces’ operation against terrorists and their facilitators will continue”.
Moreover, the corps commander laid a floral wreath at the monument of Rangers’ martyrs.
