Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesman in a statement denounced the terrorist attack that took place on last Monday at Nawzad district in Helmand province.
Such acts are unjustifiable and could not be tolerated, the spokesman said. “Terrorism is our common enemy and comprehensive and coordinated measures are imperative to root-out this menace from our region”, statement said.
Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, it added.
Militants on Monday, May 25, killed at least 26 police officers and soldiers in ambushes in Afghanistan’s southern Helmand province.
