SYDNEY: Pakistan’s tennis star Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi has cruised past into the quarter final of mixed double of Australian open, ARY News reported.
Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi along with her German partner Julia Goerges defeated the duo of Andrea Hlavackova and Max Mirnyi in straight set victory of 6-3,6-4.
Aisam-Julia will face Sania Mirza of India and Cara Black of Zimbabwe in the quarter final.
Sania-Cara had defeated the Canada-Russian pair of Eugenie Bouchard and Vera Dushevina 6-4, 6-3 in a third round match on Court 2.
