According to details, police raided a house in Osmanabad locality of Lyari area where the criminals opened fire on the police personnel.
One gangster Rehman alias Dhol was killed in retaliatory fire by police.
Police sources claim that the gangster belonged to Sheraz Comrade group of Lyari Gang War.
On the other hand, two citizens namely Arsalan and Waqas were injured as they resisted a robbery attempt in Malir Halt area.
The injured were shifted to Jinnah hospital where they are being given medical treatment.
