ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI: At least eight people were killed whereas 20 were injured when a passenger bus-trawler collision here at the Islamabad Motorway Toll Plaza on Sunday.
The incident occurred when the bus, travelling to Bhawalpur from Islamabad, crashed into a standing trawler. According to Motorway Police, the incident occurred as the bus driver fell asleep and could not see the trawler in front of him.
The injured were shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Islamabad and Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi where several are in critical condition.
