65 militants killed in North Waziristan air attacks

Overall death toll of militants in air attacks in the tribal region today reached to 65.

Earlier, in a morning attack in Dattakhel tehsil 35 militants were killed in the region.

A military offensive in North Waziristan tribal region, codenamed ‘Operation Zarb-i-Azb’ has been in its third month to clear the region from Taliban militants.

The military campaign in North Waziristan, was launched after a high profile terrorist attack on Jinnah International Airport Karachi, Pakistan’s aviation hub, in June this year.
