KARACHI: A 5.2 magnitude tremor has hit Karachi and adjacent areas on Monday evening – ARY News reports.
According to seismic center, the epicenter of the earthquake was located in Balochistan, some 137 kilometers away from here and 60 kilometers deep.
However, the intensity 5.2 was recorded in Balochistan, in Karachi and adjacent areas the magnitude of the tremor was quite lowered.
Earlier to this, an earthquake of magnitude 4.6 on the Richter scale had rocked the coastal city of Karachi and adjacent areas late on October 15, this year.
The epicenter of this quake was also located in Hub, Balochistan some 10 kilometers deep.
