Most of the victims were belonged to the slum areas of Karachi including Landhi, Korangi, Bilal Colony and Zaman Town, who were brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC).
Incharge of JPMC Emergency Department Dr Semin Jamali has confirmed the death of 18 people, caused by poisonous wine. She further informed that survivors of three victims didn’t allow to conduct the postmortem of their beloved ones.
